IMPORTANT NEWS: Kenny Boone's Exhibition will open October 20

Hello All,
I haven't been able to update the blog in a while thanks to blogger's servers. Anyway...
I have important news for those who planned on attending Kenny Boone's exhibition opening, originally scheduled for this Friday night (October 13). The Art Gallery had to postpone this opening due to the opening of the Centre for Cape Breton Studies on Wednesday, October 13 (we couldn't have a half-installed exhibition in the Gallery for the visitors to see).
Instead KENNY BOONE'S EXHIBITION WILL OPEN OCTOBER 20 AT 7:00 PM and will run until November 17.

Also, there will be a GALA this year! The 9th Annual Art Gallery Gala fundraiser on Friday, November 3 will take on an Asian inspired theme of ‘Lanterns and Lotus Blossoms.’ The black tie optional evening promises exotic food, enthralling artwork and an enchanting atmosphere.
The event will include a silent auction, featuring nine special Chinese porcelain pieces, in addition to local creations. Tickets are $65/person (tax receipts for a portion) and available by calling (902) 563-1342 or 563-1199 or e-mail suzanne_crowdis@cbu.ca.
