December Update (with pictures!)

Hello All,
I finally have photos!
These are from our volunteer workshop with Enrique Ferreol and Willie Reid from AGNS in August (held in conjunction with Cutting, Scratching, Pushing, Pulling). Everyone had a great time and the reading room was the perfect space for our art making.

We had a successful Gala this autumn too! I do not have photos of the big night, but i do have some of the volunteers and staff getting easels ready. Thank you to all who helped get the gallery looking fabu!































I also have an update with photos from the opening of Sysco 1901-2001: photographs by Lesley Hinton. We had a nice opening Friday December 1st for this exhibition. Here are two pics of the artist with the Art Gallery Preparator, Michele MacDonald. Apparently, Live at Five did a short segment on the exhibition Monday, December 11th! I didn't get to watch because I was preparing for our annual Art Gallery Appreciation Dinner which thanks staff and volunteers at the Art Gallery for their dedication throughout the year. Pictures will follow of our night out.
